Hey Mike,

Personally, I don’t agree with this. I am a 30″ waist and have four pairs of the Survivor trousers in a 30″ waist and they’re perfect. They fit tightly, but they should.

If your waist is an in-between size then I think it’d be sensible to size up rather than down.

The great thing with Internet shopping now is that returning something is usually very easy, so if they don’t fit, exchange them!

They’re amazing trousers. Second to none. They’re worth ordering even if you have to exchange for a different size. :)

Ste, according to many online reviews a number of people comment that they have to go up one size in the Survivor trousers, do you agree with this?

Hi Rob,

I’ve not missed the overall size of the device. I’ve missed the screen real-estate a bit, but not hugely. I guess it’s what you get used to.

I never found holding the phone to be an issue – though, one handed operation was basically a no-go even though my hands are most definitely not small.

I think a 4.5″ display would be perfect for me. Maybe even a 5″ display, should it be cased inside a still small device. The other half of Opinionated World is convinced they could get a 5″ display into a Nexus 4 case, which frankly would be the ideal pairing.

I thought the same thing about the note when I first bought it. I had all intention of sending it back, but after week with it, installing a launcher and settling into the device I found I wouldn’t want to go back to a smaller screen. Curious as to how you feel now about the size.

For reference I;m about 5’11″ and wear a large or XL in gloves so the size in hand isn’t that big of a deal for me, but for a smaller person I wouldn’t recommend this device.

After about 6 months with the device I miss stock android, but still like the large screen and wouldn’t give it up. Though I’m debating on rooting…
